Shame

It is always a pity to me that we as a society have such difficulty differentiating between nudity and sex. We can’t just look at each other. I am following the last post about identity with this post about sexuality and how we view it. It is pretty broad, but I want people to think about things, like how much better this image would be without something so jarring interrupting your view. But if it wasn’t there, could you actually view it? Nudity is the base of our humanity, it is the one thing that every human on the planet has in common. At the end of the day it doesn’t matter what god you worship, what political alliance you affiliate yourself with, what your upbringing was like, how many bad or good decisions you have made, we can still all just get naked and be human. It seems overly simplistic I know, but how many problems in this world have arisen out of over-complication? Would rape be an issue if naked women didn’t equal sex? Would crimes against homosexuals even be heard of if sex didn’t have it’s current social definitions? Like, I said it sounds simplistic and I am sure we could argue the points on either side until the end of time, but I just like to think that sometimes, if we could all just see ourselves as human without gender or sex, would our world be better? Would you be better?

I definitely would. I am in that conflict as well. I love nudity, I love getting naked and being comfortable about it. I love sex, but that doesn’t really move my desire to just be freely undressed. And that is so so stupidly misunderstood. Like, what is that that female teachers get fired if they model naked in a beautiful piece of art? That is already considered inmoral and attacked by the parents who doubt the intentions of this person when dealing with children (teenagers or adults as well, people are retards with that).

I know you do darling. It’s true though, that’s a good point. Scandal would lose so much of it’s power over our opinions heh.

…rape is not a matter of sexuality. rape is commited by sick individuals with sick needs. it would still happen if nudity were rampant in the streets.
